Do you intentionally set aside time in your day to read like before bedtime or when you wake up before looking at your phone?
My friend and colleague Stacey always respects my ability to read during lunch. It’s my time out during the day. A light lunch and a good book.
Then I find time in the morning after I read the paper with my breakfast and tea and in the afternoon and evening depending on what’s on the family’s schedule. And it adds up. The listening during the walk with the dog in the morning and the workout or driving to and from work or the few minutes before dinner is ready or before bed.
So I am curious. Are you making the time or does the time find you to read?

These days it’s mostly that the time finds me; otherwise I have to force myself to make time. I typically used to read before bed, but that’s changed. I think making the time find me is resulting in less reading though.
