Wow, that went quick.
- How would you assess your reading overall? Strong! I picked some real winners and the audiobooks were spot-on to get me from book to book or moving instead of sitting on my butt the entire time.
- Did you have a strategy, and if so, did you stick to it? Yes, I usually have a huge stack that fit most of the criteria for the BINGO board (because that’s my jam EVERY readathon) but still pick by mood. And guess what? Blackout!
- What was your favorite snack? My apple cinnamon scones to kick it off yesterday. It’s a keeper!

1. It went really well. I managed to get 18 hours out of the 24 (and my eyes are now burning)
2.I read 3.5 books, so I didn’t try for Bingo. But I picked a theme for the weekend, and put together a pile from my TBR book cases (yes, plural) that met that theme. Spooooky, for the Halloween season.
3.Oh, definitely the first one: an Ectoplasm doughnut from SuziQ Doughnuts here in Ottawa. They make the best damned doughnuts I’ve ever had. This one is a sugared doughnut, with a bright green apple/kiwi filling. Perfect for the season as well.
